Dr. Kang received her undergraduate degree in Human biology, health, and society from Cornell University. She was one of the 175 recipients of Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research. She went on to earn her doctorate from UCLA School of Dentistry. Her advanced pediatric training certificate was granted from NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. While in her residency she was awarded the Silvia Perez-Spiess Award in recognition for hard work, enthusiasm, compassion and excellent service to the community.
Dr. Kang's interest in community service led her to become one of the chief coordinators for Inglewood Clinic Group, providing night clinic at the Children's Dental Center of Greater L.A. to increase access to dental care to underserved children in the Inglewood area. Dr. Kang lives with her family and enjoys going on walks with her dog, Louis.
