General & Cosmetic Dentistry

At Studio City Dental Group, your general practitioner is highly qualified to diagnose and restore decayed teeth with fillings, crowns, or by composite bonding. General dentists at SCDG also have extensive experience in endodontics (root canal therapy). When it comes to restoring a damaged tooth by "filling" it, many of our patients prefer tooth-colored composite fillings as an alternative to the silver-amalgam fillings traditionally used.

Our cosmetic services also include Tooth Whitening. This process involves the whitening of natural teeth, using a rapid in-office technique, as well as an at home procedure. Our experienced dentists are skilled in a wide range of cosmetic techniques, including composite bonding, porcelain veneers, and all porcelain crowns, to enhance your smile!

Oral Surgery

Should you require it, a full range of oral surgical procedures are available by surgeons who are Diplomates of the American Board of Oral and Maxilofacial Surgery.  These services include tooth extraction, jaw surgery, and dental implants.  The safe administration of general anesthesia is available for your comfort.  Most oral surgery is performed within our office, however when necessary, patients may also be treated in a hospital setting.

Children's Dentistry

Our highest goal in treating your children is to prevent the development of dental problems by providing regular care in a positive and pleasant atmosphere. By teaching youngsters to correctly care for their own teeth, we strive to create the foundation of good oral health that they can carry throughout their lives.

Studio City Dental Group maintains an area designed especially for young patients and staffed by experienced dentists and assistants who specialize in the treatment of children. We believe that routine examination by a children’s dentist is the best method to prevent tooth decay. The application of fluoride directly to a child's teeth is also highly effective. Children should begin regular dental care by the age of three.

Orthodontics

Properly aligned teeth are important for both the appearance of your face and chewing function. The dental specialty of orthodontics involves the straightening of teeth and the alignment of the jaw for both cosmetic and general preventative dental care.

At Studio City Dental Group, we can provide orthodontic services to both adults and children. Ceramic braces, which are nearly invisible, are available to adult patients. It is recommended that children between the ages of five and eleven be monitored by the orthodontist in order to prevent or lessen the severity of problems that may be developing.

Periodontics

Should it be advisable, dentists specializing in the treatment of gum and bone disease (periodontists), are available on our staff. At Studio City Dental Group, we treat patients in conjunction with the general dentists and hygienists, providing a variety of treatment techniques for the optimal care and maintenance of healthy gums and teeth.

In order to retain your teeth throughout your lifetime it is essential to maintain a healthy oral environment. Studio City Dental Group has a staff of dental hygienists who will see you for regularly scheduled appointments, usually every six months, unless your dentist advises more frequent appointments.
