Nathan Shapiro, DMD
Dr. Nathan Shapiro was born in LA , CA in 1959. He graduated from USC in 1980 with a BS in Biological Sciences. Dr. Shapiro graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1985 with a DMD. He completed his post graduate training in Periodontology at Tufts in 1987.
Dr. Shapiro has been practicing since 1991. He completed Branemark training in implant placement at UCLA in 1998 and has been placing implants since then.
Dr. Shapiro is an esteemed member of the ADA, CDA,AAP, ICOI (international college of implantology). He taught as a Clinical Instructor in Periodontology at USC School of Dentistry in 1987-1990 and at Tufts 1985-1987. Dr.Shapiro is a board certified periodontist having gained Diplomate status from The American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Shapiro is the only board certified periodontist in Ventura and Oxnard and one of only a few in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
