Dr. Horowitz received his D.D.S. degree from UCLA in 1999, where he graduated Cum Laude. After graduation Dr. Horowitz attended a general practice residency at the Sepulveda VA Medical Center in Northridge. He spent 2 years with the Veteran’s Hospital, the second year of which he was chief resident. Dr. Horowitz loved working with the veterans and they will always hold a special place in his heart.
Dr. Horowitz went on to further his education at UCLA where he received his specialty certificate in Periodontics and surgical training in dental implants. During his training he conducted research in periodontal microbiology, studying a specific oral bacteria’s ability to invade the body’s circulatory system.

Dr. Horowitz prides himself on being compassionate and caring towards all his patients. He strives to make his patients as comfortable as possible and to ensure they have a clear understanding of their treatment.
Dr. Horowitz is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontics, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society where he serves as a member of the board.
