At Studio City Dental Group, your general practitioner is highly qualified to
diagnose and restore decayed teeth with fillings, crowns, or by composite
bonding. General dentists at SCDG also have extensive experience in endodontics
(root canal therapy). When it comes to restoring a damaged tooth by "filling"
it, many of our patients prefer tooth-colored composite fillings as an
alternative to the silver-amalgam fillings traditionally used.
Prosthodontic services are also provided by your general
dentist. This includes replacement of missing teeth with non-removable
appliances (bridges) as well as removable ones (dentures and partials). We also
offer dental implant services, in which root-shaped titanium
cylinders are placed in the jawbone in order to provide a foundation for the
replacement of missing teeth.
Our cosmetic services also include Tooth Whitening. This process
involves the whitening of natural teeth, using a rapid in-office technique, as
well as an at home procedure. Our experienced dentists are skilled in a wide
range of cosmetic techniques, including composite bonding, porcelain veneers,
and all porcelain crowns, to enhance your smile!
